Watermark a PDF
Mark each page of a PDF with a word like DRAFT, COPY or CONFIDENTIAL. You decide where it sits, what colour it is and how bold or faint it appears.
How to use it

Why people add watermarks
A watermark tells readers, and anyone who prints the pages, how to treat what they are holding. It might flag an unfinished draft that should not be relied upon, a confidential document, or a copy given to one named person. Set faint and on a diagonal, it catches the eye while leaving the text easy to read.
What a watermark cannot do
A watermark does not protect the document: anyone with PDF editing software can take it off. If you need to stop people opening the file, add a password instead, and if information must be gone for good, redact it.

Will the watermark make my pages hard to read?

Can someone take the watermark off?
