Privacy notice

TeddyPDF is built to learn as little about you as possible. This notice explains the small amount of personal information involved in running it. Last updated 29th September 2026.

Who is responsible

Brian Rooney, trading as TeddyPDF, of Office 1, Technology House, 9 Newton Place, Glasgow G3 7PR, is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. Contact: hello@teddypdf.com.

Your files

Every file you open in a TeddyPDF tool is processed inside your own browser. It is never sent to TeddyPDF or to anyone else, so TeddyPDF cannot see it and keeps no copy of it.

Visiting the website

TeddyPDF is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives the ordinary technical details of each request, such as your internet address, your browser type and the page asked for, so that it can deliver the page and protect the site from attack. TeddyPDF uses no analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies. The legal basis for this processing is the legitimate interest in running a secure website.

Storage on your device

TeddyPDF does not store anything about you in your browser. When you use "Keep going with this file" to move a file to another tool, the file is passed between the two tabs inside your browser and is not stored.

If you email TeddyPDF

If you write to hello@teddypdf.com, your message is forwarded by Cloudflare's email service to TeddyPDF's inbox. Your email address and message are used only to reply and to deal with what you asked, on the basis of the legitimate interest in answering you, and are kept only as long as reasonably needed for that.

Buying on FilePresto

TeddyPDF sells nothing. If you follow a link to FilePresto, the sister site, and buy a Day Pass or subscription there, FilePresto's own privacy notice applies to that purchase.

Where information goes

Cloudflare may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where it does, it uses the safeguards that UK data protection law requires.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its processing and to ask for processing to be restricted. Email hello@teddypdf.com. If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, please say so first so that it can be put right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
